Refunds, Cancellations and Returns

At Uni-Rep Technologies Pvt Ltd, we strive to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet your business vision. However, we understand that circumstances may change. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for our services (Web Development, Mobile App Development, Software Engineering, and Maintenance).

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Project Cancellation Before Work Begins: If a client wishes to cancel a project after signing the contract/paying the advance but before the official “Project Kickoff” or “Discovery Phase” has commenced, a cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email.

In such cases, Uni-Rep Technologies will refund 100% of the advance amount, minus a nominal administrative processing fee (typically 5% of the total project value or INR 5,000, whichever is lower).

1.2 Project Cancellation During Development

Once the project has moved into the “Design” or “Development” phase, the initial deposit/advance payment is non-refundable.

If a client cancels the project mid-way, they are liable to pay for all work completed up to the date of cancellation based on the hourly rate or milestone breakdown defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

All code, designs, and resources created up to that point will be transferred to the client only after full settlement of dues.

1.3 Cancellation of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC): AMC services can be cancelled by providing a 30-day written notice.

If the client has paid annually in advance, a refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the remaining unused months, minus a standard cancellation fee equivalent to one month of service.

2. Refund Policy: Since we provide intangible digital services, we generally follow a strict refund policy based on milestones.

2.1 Milestone-Based Refunds

Completed Milestones: Refunds are not applicable for milestones that have already been approved by the client or delivered (e.g., if the UI Design is approved, the fee for that phase is non-refundable).

Rejection of Work: If the client is unsatisfied with the initial draft/prototype and chooses not to proceed, they may be eligible for a partial refund of the specific milestone payment, subject to discussion and the specific terms of the contract.

2.2 Non-Refundable Items:

The following third-party costs are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance:

Domain Name Registrations.

Server/Hosting Setup Fees (AWS, Azure, VPS, etc.).

SSL Certificates.

Third-party Software Licenses or Plugins purchased specifically for the project.

Payment Gateway Setup Fees.

3. Processing of Refunds

Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval.

Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original source of payment (Credit Card, Bank Transfer, or UPI). We cannot issue cash refunds.

4. Project Delays:

Company Delay: If Uni-Rep Technologies fails to deliver the project within the agreed timeline (excluding delays caused by the client), and no resolution is found, the client may be entitled to a partial refund or discount as per the penalty clauses in the specific Service Agreement.

Client Delay: If a project is stalled for more than 30 days due to lack of response or content from the client, the project will be considered “Dormant.” Reactivating a dormant project may incur a re-initiation fee. No refunds will be issued for dormant projects.

5. Disputes Any dispute regarding refunds or cancellations should first be addressed by contacting our management team at info@unirep-tech.com ,  unirep07@gmail.com. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
